Catch Again

I picked up and started playing catch again. It's kinda cool how sometimes you do better after not playing for a while.Today I broke 14 million with a detonation area of 80, 6 more than before, on level 20 start.
Look out Sully! :)
Last week or so I learned back to back tspin triples. I only practiced with one setup, so I still need lots of work. You have to be pretty good to use them efficently IMO.

What the heck, I misdrop like crazy now on my Lite. Maybe because my hands are sweaty? I accidenly had 3 hard drops in a row - you know, when you hardrop and 2 other pieces fall almost at the same time.I've also been facing some weird ratings lately. I've faced sub 5000 players with 0 wins and 7200 rated players with t-spins. Oh yeah, I have some pretty sick t-spins today, one with an "L" piece.

Started playing wifi last night. First person I faced was 6600ish, so 500 above me. I won about every other game, bringing me up to 6300. Then I faced another player who's rating was just below 6000 and got brought down to 5700. Playing when you are tired and about to go to bed is not a good idea!Post Comment0 Comments
Too much tetris

Gosh, I've been playing tetris too much lately... or rather, been playing at times when I shouldn't be. One night I got about 45 minutes of sleep, from playing tetris, then not being about to fall asleep afterwards (from the bright screen). I just hope my mom dosn't take my DS away!I'm getting better at vs mode with the computer. I win about 75% of the time on level 4 now.

Gah, I got 13.2 mill (lvl 20 start), a new record... BUT before I got that record, it was going to be like 15 million if I didn't die at 8 million something. I had amazing detonations, some of which were just under 1 million each. I was just plowing through everything until I got too big and couldn't avoid the bad guys.You have to have the perfect state of mind in order to play well it seems. A lot of times I will just pick up the DS and on my first run, get a new record, when other times I can be frustrated with a dozen restarts and go nowhere.
